One wishes the following dwelled more on Brudenell Carter’s early use of the Type Writer, but there are some interesting details.

    A very interesting observation that good, easy-to-read typed copy went to poor compositors and poorly done hand written scrawls went to good compositors. You win a bit and lose a bit: the story of technological innovation.
