By coincidence, gave a bit of story to the Swift I just spotted one (with good pictures) on our local classifieds site – it looked German (Stoewer), this adds a bit more background. Notable how the British journal omits to disclose the source.
The gold medal decals on the front really are very ornate.
As Robert says, there isn’t a hint that the typewriter is made in Germany and isn’t, as Imperial said, “British Right Through”!
