What became of the Stallman is a mystery, and it is unknown if any were sold commercially. Plans to manufacture 100,000 machines were extraordinarily optimistic.

Richard Polt writes about the Stallman in two issues of ETCetera:

  • No. 62, June 2003, introducing the Stallman as a newly discovered machine – click here
  • No. 70, June 2005, discussing patent information – click here

The Stallman remains an “unfound” machine.
